History
Viewpoint Church originated out of a small group of people who met every Friday evening for fellowship and Bible study. There was a sense that God was calling this group to pray about planting a church in Newport Beach. Rockharbor Church confirmed this call in January of 2013. A group of about 30 students and adults then began to organize and meet regularly. Rockharbor Church officially commissioned Viewpoint Church on March 30, 2014. Our first official service (the birthday of Viewpoint Church) was April 20, 2014 (Easter Sunday) at Old City Hall on Balboa Peninsula.
Mission
Our Mission is to inspire and guide people of all ages to make a difference in their community and on their campuses by knowing God better and discovering His purpose for their lives.
